I started making jewellery as a hobby – more out of necessity than anything else, as I’m a really fussy person when it comes to accessories and my friends were sick of going shopping with me and hearing ‘That would be nice if it was just a little bit more like this…’ and ‘Why are there no nice initial necklaces out there? I want one!’

And so I started making them. And then I thought, ‘If I can’t find a nice initial necklace anywhere, maybe other people can’t! Plus, I have all the non S letters of the alphabet to use up!’ So then I put my jewellery on Etsy and Foiksy, and people started buying them.
